This gobo creates a pattern you would expect to see at the bottom of a pool of water as the light is reflected off the ripples on the surface. The aquamarine color used also emphasizes the use of the gobo as representing underwater in some tropical land.
I really like the pattern created by this gobo, and I agree that it creates the pattern and texture of water. I love the color and the subtle changes in the color throughout the pattern, which adds dimensionality to the lighting. I think this light would be really cool for dance lighting, as the seeming fluidity of ripples could help bring out the fluidity of the movement of a dance.
ReplyDeleteThe texture is really spot on, as it definitely looks like water from that angle. The color reminds me of water from the ocean or from a lake, as pool water is usually a brighter blue. The texture also reminds me of a stain glass window!
