I loved the colors used in this, it really captured the tone of the song and the joyful and melodic sound. The choice to fade slowly between the lights I think paid off in the long run because it left the audience feeling very calm and happy, matching the song perfectly. The red tones were also nice to see in a joyful way as opposed to other projects who used red or jewel tones for a more dramatic effect.
The lights paralleled the song very nicely. The song as a light airy feel to it and so were you lights. The transition between cues were generally slow which again goes well with the pace of the song. The use of back-light was also good as it separated the characters from the scene when the lyrics said "gone."
I love how soft and warm the lighting is, it pairs so well with the song. The transitions were slow, but effective. I've always thought of red lighting as harsh and scary but you made it look comforting and romantic, it blended with the other colors super well. With a song like this, less is more, and you accomplished it really well. Good job.
