The use of multiple colors made it seems as if the world was ethereal. I really liked the use of light 5 to convey the focus on the figures as if the rest of the world truly did evaporate around them. I believe that through the use of multiple gels it also was able to convey the setting of a party or a prom. I also liked how the pink and blue was used to highlight a certain figure as if it was a man and woman and those colors were then used to symbolize those figures. It was also effective as the singer of the song was a woman and occasional the pink would linger longer than the man conveying that the woman longed for the moment even more.
The gels you chose look beautiful, they almost look pastel. The soft colors and minimal lighting is really effective for such a chill song. The movement of the light in the chorus looks as if the figures are actually dancing. I also really liked how the back lighting shaped the figures. Good job!
