Rafaela - Q2M1

  1. The lighting pallet you choose for the song really suited it, I got a sense of loneliness and coldness from the entire piece that made it feel like a complete work. The lack of detectable minor changes lent to a feeling that what ever was happening was large, it was sudden and it would be sad...

  2. I think your colors and your angles were phenomenal throughout the song. The combination of the cooler colors along with the side lights and the 45 degree light really created a somewhat eerie atmosphere which went along with the music perfectly.

  3. I really liked the fact that your cues accurately matched the tempo and feeling of the song. Even though there aren’t any words, your design was still able to invoke a sense of wonder and loneliness. The minimal lights made it seem as if the figures were lost in a forest. The colors were perfect and really captured the drama of the music. Well done!

  4. This song's top melody has such an icy, lonely feeling, and I think you captured that excellently, while also balancing it with a few warmer lights. Your use of relatively slow fades was a great change of pace, and helped make the quick changes more impactful.

  5. The cues are synched with the piano really well. The stage being dark except for a few colorful front lights creates a whimsical feeling, but also slightly ominous. The quick cues on the dramatic beats are really cool too!
