The lighting in your project was very creative. I really loved the use of color, as the warm colors brought out the exciting and carefree nature of the song. I also liked how the lights were timed so well to changes in the song. I liked how the change in the song was highlighted by the change in zoom of the one light that had an interesting gobo. This light helped indicate the shift in the song and mood. I also liked the use of the cyc lights throughout the song, and I liked that you were able to mimic movement in two ways—through the use of turning on and off each cyc light and by changing colors.
I think you matched the timing and mood of this song very well in your project! You used moving lights and the cyc lights in a really fun way here, and the reddish/pink color scheme you used was very exciting to look at and went along well with the energy of the song. I also thought the breakdown/cue at 2:17 made an interesting contrast with the rest of the song by using cooler colors and the gobo rotator, but still kept the excitement up.
I agree with Rafaela about how you matched the timing and mood of your song with your lights quite well. I especially like how there is a mix of drastic changes in lights on the important beats and slow fades. The bright white back lights were quite effective as you used them to kind of startle the audience. I also really liked how you had front spots exit by going above and then disappearing.
The choice of colors, pinks and yellows, fit well with the song having that Pop feel. The cues were also very well synced to the beats of the song such as in the first couple of seconds. I really liked the regrouping of the Cyc lights to have them converge in the center.
I love the color palette and the relatively subtle pulsing of the lights, especially during the verses and on the background during the choruses. The movement of your lights in general really stands out!
