Your song is quite upbeat feeling, I like how you maintain warm colors throughout most of the song to reflect this. Another part that I really liked was how you used the background lights changing in a way that looks like the lights are flowing across the back. I also liked how you created movement through a quick sequence of spotlight changes.
I enjoyed the song you chose and felt that the lighting cues you choose complement and highlighted the song nicely. I liked your use of quick transitions with the spotlights.
Throughout this show, what stuck out most to me was your use of spotlights. Besides highlighting the figures on stage, they almost set a pace for the rest of the lights with their movements—I've never seen spotlights used that way and I thought it was really effective!
First off, love the song :) I really liked your use of the spotlights with gentle movements and the soft colors projected from the cyc lights. It created a really tranquil and laid back atmosphere that matches the tempo of the song. With a slow song like this, it is best to keep things small and not have dramatic color changes and big flashing lights, and I think you executed this fantastically.
