The lighting and color in this photo help create a very dramatic scene. The intensity of the light behind him even though there really is no clear light source means that whatever is producing the light is strong and bright. This adds to the tension of the scena and the photo because the audience knows that something big is about to happen, but it is not clear exactly what.
I like the portrayal of this lighting. By not focusing any of the lighting on to the character, it makes him look as though he is entering a dangerous situation as he going away from the light. I also believe that not being about to tell where the source of the light also increases the mood of tension that the scene is trying to capture I believe. I also like that the coloring is on the cooler orange side as if it is a color of caution
