Gobo/Texture





See the source imageThe different levels of lighting in this scene are amazing. You have a backdrop of orange fading to dark blue to show a sun setting while the character on stage is light by a bright sky light that fades as it gets away from him.

    I love this photo because by just using one gobo the lighting in this scene is able to becoming both realistic and dramatic. This is an interesting combination that is somewhat difficult to pull off and lets the audience know to pay attention while also shifting to a darker tone.
