The Gobo lights highlight the subject on the stage. I like that the light is able to create the shapes on the stage, almost looks like shattered glass.
The amount of light used in this shot is almost to much for me. I do agree that this creates a very striking visual effect but it seems like there is too much light that would distract the audience from what the actor is doing.
The pattern does somewhat give off a broken glass appearance. I think this is also due to the color chosen. However, it seems like there are two or multiple patterns, and i don't think they fit that well together; some appear to be rounded while the faded ones seems to be sharper.
