  1. I loved how the lighting cues matched the music. I loved how the physical movement of the lights in circles matched the lyrics of people who “run in circles.” I love how repeated words or words that were meant to be emphasized like “mad” were emphasized with changes in intensity of the cues. This change in intensity is a really creative way to emphasize a cue or lyric and create an earnestly emotional mood.

  2. You truly capture the mood of the song with the purposeful lighting choices that you made. You allowed minimum light to enter the stage and stayed true to an almost all white lighting color palette. One of the effects I love the most that you were able to capture was with the group 1 lighting rig as you made them look as if it was a cars passing by the stage. Along with this I believe that your choice of intenstity was smart as the voice in the piece was soft and you reflected that in your lighting expect when you wanted to highlight a moment or word in the song.

  3. I really like this performance due to the minimalist form of lighting. This meant that when you used multiple lights and colors, there was a lot more too it. It matched very well with the song, and I enjoyed it!

  4. I thought this performance was really well done - the colors were perfect for the song and the movements really captured the emotion of the song. This is a really good example of subtle lighting and the absence of color being effective. I really liked when the moving lights switched seamlessly from the circular movement to spotlights on the center figure. The way you used spotlights and color in this performance really stands out.
