I find this lighting interesting, because most of it is clearly coming down behind the set piece that is arching above the stage. These lights are particularly noticeable because they are tight and look like rays illuminating those below.

I like that the lighting illuminates elements of the set, such as the letter tiles, just enough so that they are noticeable without drawing too much attention. It lights the actors on stage but works with the resulting shadows to create tension and drama on stage. The lighting has us focused on two characters by lighting their faces and keeping others in relative darkness.
