Moon Through a Tree

I took this picture years ago in California when it was a clear night sky with a full moon. I was on a  run and I loved how the moon shone perfectly through the branches and even flared a little bit when the picture was taken. Often when you try to take a picture of the moon, it just ends up as a white dot with not much else to it, but I found it interesting that the moon on this night actually was bright enough to avoid that effect.

  1. I think the light coming from the moon is really cool, especially how much is coming from it. What you said is true about moon pictures being little white dots but this picture captures more of it. I also like how there's light on the tree in front of you. This picture seems to get both a good picture of the moon without tuning everything else out

  2. I think this photo is really cool because of the way the light is shaped. The elongated light is different from other photos I have seen before, and along with this, the soft light on the tree lets the viewer see the details of the tree. Overall the picture is interesting to look at and the light is very different from other pictures I have seen.

  3. I really like the way the light reflected off the moon. It created an almost perfect line. Its brightness automatically caught my attention. I really like how it contrasts against the blue sky.
